As one of the traditional Chinese arts,ceramics has a long history of development,and with the development and change of society,it has shown the unique characteristics of each era.This paper aims to reveal the theoretical commonality of contemporary ceramic design and new Chinese style,and explore the innovative way of integration and innovation of con-temporary ceramic design and new Chinese style.By analyzing the development status of contemporary ceramic design and the main characteristics of new Chinese style,the common points of the two in the design are sought,and the organic com-bination of Chinese aesthetics and modern ceramic design is realized.As a new interpretation of Chinese traditional style in the new era,the combination of new Chinese style and contemporary ceramic design makes ceramic design keep up with the pace of the new era,which not only meets the spiritual and aesthetic needs of contemporary consumers,but also realizes the modern expression of Chinese traditional culture,showing the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture.
