笔者通过溶胶-凝胶燃烧法成功合成了 Y2O3-Sc2O3-ZrO2 纳米粉体,研究了 ZrO2 与热压烧结工艺对 Y2O3-Sc2O3-ZrO2 固溶体透明陶瓷组织与性能的影响.结果表明,Y2O3-Sc2O3-ZrO2 粉体晶粒尺寸随 ZrO2 掺入量的增加而减小.热压过程中,ZrO2 可以有效抑制晶界迁移,提高陶瓷致密度、透过率及强度和韧性.在优化的 1 300℃,30 min,40 MPa工艺下烧结,Y2O3-Sc2 O3-10 mol%ZrO2 固溶体透明陶瓷的综合性能最好,其平均晶粒尺寸仅 94 nm、致密度 98.5%、硬度 10.44 GPa,断裂韧性 1.42 MPa·m1/2、在 3~6μm红外波段最大透过率达到 72%.
In this paper,the Y2O3-Sc2O3-ZrO2 solid solution powders were prepared by sol-gel combustion method,meanwhile the effects of ZrO2 as well as hot pressing sintering parameters on the micro-structure and properties of the Y2O3-Sc2O3-ZrO2 solid solution transparent ceramics were studied.The results showed that the grain sizes of nanopow-ders decreased with the increase of ZrO2 doping amount.In the process of hot pressing sintering,ZrO2 can effectively in-hibit the migration of grain boundaries and enhance the density,infrared transmission,strength and toughness of the ce-ramic.Under the optimized condition of temperature of 1 300℃ with holding time of 30 min and pressure of 40MPa,the obtained Y2O3-Sc2O3-ZrO2 ceramic exhibited the best comprehensive performance,i.e.its average grain size was only 94 nm,relative density was 98.5%,Vickers hardness was 10.44 GPa,fracture toughness was 1.42 MPa·m1/2,and the maximum transmittance within 3~6 μm was 72% .
