In ancient China,handicraft industry was in the bottom of the social class ranking,"Knowledge is of the utmost importance",reading has always been the preferred way to obtain fame and achieve life advancement,and porcelain indus-try belongs to handicraft industry,not respected by the mainstream of thought,the literature on ceramics was few and un-til the publication of the records of pottery and the records of pottery in Jingdezhen,which dealt specifically with Jing-dezhen ware,dating back more than 1,000 years of porcelain-making history in Jingdezhen,the discovery of ancient kiln sites such as nanyao in Yamcha and Lantian kiln in Xianghu has been followed by archaeological work,to date the history of porcelain-making in JingDezhen to the mid-tang dynasty,some records are vague due to the lack of corroboration of the unearthed materials,for example,Liu Zongyuan's article on the contribution of porcelain in the generation of people into the state of porcelain has many points of discussion.This article will analyze some problems of porcelain mentioned in this article by combing the literature and investigating on the spot.
