As an artistic style combining life and art,Popism integrates pop culture elements with reality.Its development cannot be separated from the influence of The Times and social environment.Pop art,as a kind of popular art,has an im-portant influence on the creation of contemporary Chinese and Western ceramic art,and has changed the creation methods of many ceramic art.In different periods,pop art can reflect the artists'thoughts on society and themselves according to the things in daily life.With the continuous development of modern industrialization and technology,contemporary pop art has undergone many changes.Artists of different periods also kept developing under the influence of Popism.This paper briefly summarizes the development of contemporary ceramic art under the influence of Popism in terms of shape,subject matter and material selection.
