The global society is aging at an unprecedented rate,and this phenomenon has a particularly significant impact on rural areas.With the increasing trend of population aging,rural communities are faced with increasingly severe challenges of aging.Thus,the demonstration area for the integrated development of health care and green buildings came into being,which not only conforms to the trend of social development,but also becomes an indispensable force to promote rural revitaliza-tion.In particular,the promotion of green and environmentally friendly elderly care buildings in the context of the country's vigorous promotion of rural revitalization strategic planning not only reflects the great importance of environmental protec-tion,but also the practice of the concept of sustainable development.Guided by the strategic planning of rural revitalization and aiming at the green development of beautiful villages,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the constituent ele-ments of rural health care buildings for the elderly through the comprehensive collation of existing literature and field re-search,and proposes a design optimization scheme,with a view to providing a solid theoretical basis and scientific support for the design optimization of rural health care buildings in China.
