With people's increasing concern about environmental protection and the implementation of global sustainable de-velopment strategy,green building,as a way of sustainable construction,has gradually been concerned and promoted by people.Green construction,as a construction method to save resources,protect the environment,economy and social bene-fits,can reduce building energy consumption,reduce environmental pollution,improve construction efficiency,improve construction environment,and promote sustainable development.This paper discusses the development status of new green energy saving technology in China,analyzes the characteristics of green energy saving technology and its importance in building construction.Combined with engineering examples,the application in engineering construction is discussed.This paper analyzes the insufficient application of green energy-saving technology,and puts forward the green energy-saving technology represented by energy-saving lighting technology and building water-saving technology.
