Porcelain monk's hat pot is one of the new ceramic utensils in the Yuan Dynasty,which has gone through the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties.In this paper,we analyze the performance of Han culture,foreign culture and Buddhism culture on the utensils and the changes of their functions in different periods by tracing the origin of the type of the monk's hat pot and classifying the ornamentation.
