The Application and Inspiration of Traditional Ritual Culturein Modern Interior Design
The ideological concept of etiquette studies is an indispensable part of Chinese traditional culture,which not only exists in people's ideology but also manifests in various material environments.As a carrier of Chinese traditional culture,modern spatial design is closely connected with etiquette culture.From a macro perspective,the hierarchical division of ar-chitectural space all follows the rigorous order of etiquette;while turning to the micro level,even the furniture layout and decorative details of indoor space,their style,location,and every embellishment are all profoundly influenced by the con-cept of etiquette,reflecting the relentless pursuit of order and harmony.This paper combines case analysis and discussion of the application of etiquette studies in contemporary interior spatial design to explore the impact and inspiration of etiquette cultural ideology on interior design today.
