摘要

以页岩、钢渣、菱镁矿为骨料,碳化硅为发泡剂,硼砂为助熔剂制备了泡沫陶瓷.研究了硼砂用量对泡沫陶瓷孔结构、气孔率、抗折强度以及体积密度的影响,并通过XRD、SEM研究泡沫陶瓷中显微结构及晶相组成.结果 表明:当样品中外加硼砂超过2%时,出现硼反常现象.当外加硼砂用量为6%时,样品的综合性能最佳.此时样品的平均孔径为349.48 μm,闭口气孔率为59.03%,总气孔率为60.15%,抗折强度为10.86 MPa,体积密度为1.01 g/cm3.泡沫陶瓷中的主晶相为石英、方石英、透辉石,硼砂的引入会促进晶体发育.

Abstract

Foam ceramics were prepared with shale,steel slag and magnesite as raw material,silicon carbide as foam agent and borax as flux agent.The effect of borax on pore structure,porosity,bending strength and bulk density of the foam ceramics was systematically studied.Phase composition and microstructure of the samples were characterized by XRD and SEM.When the content of borax was over 2%,the boron abnormality occurred.The foam ceramics with 6% borax exhibited optimized properties,with average pore size of 349.48 μtm,closed porosity of 59.03%,total porosity of 60.15%,bending strength of 10.86 MPa and bulk density of 1.01 g/cm3.The foam ceramics consisted of quartz,cristobalite and diopside.The introduction of borax promoted the crystal growth of the foam ceramics.
