Metal/TiO2 composites are a typical class of photocatalysts,of which significant progress has been made.In this paper,the preparation methods for metal/TiO2 photocatalysts have been stated and analyzed in detail,of which the principles,advantages and disadvantages,as well as the effects for photocatalytic performance.The application of metal/TiO2 photocatalysts and some issues encountered for the photocatalysis have been described.According to the issues,corresponding improvement strategies have been also proposed.
