摘要

以片状滑石、片状高岭土等材料采用挤出成型工艺制备了低热膨胀系数的堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体,根据堇青石的组成位点设计了多组配方,通过对烧结后载体微观形貌、孔径分布、热膨胀系数等性能分析,确定了制备低热膨胀系数蜂窝陶瓷载体的配方.结果显示,片状滑石、片状高岭土以及超细氧化物的加入可促进堇青石定向排列,从而有效降低载体热膨胀系数,且堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体在室温~450 ℃具有负热膨胀特性,使得所制备的载体具有较低的热膨胀系数≤0.3×10-6℃-1(室温~800 ℃).该研究结果对低热膨胀系数堇青石材料的生产和研发具有借鉴意义.

Abstract

Cordierite honeycomb ceramic carriers with low coefficient of thermal expansion were prepared by extrusion molding process using flake talc,flake kaolin,etc.Several sets of formulations were designed according to the compositional sites of cordierite,and the formulations for the preparation of honeycomb ceramic carriers with low coefficient of thermal expansion were determined through the analysis of the properties of the carriers such as the microscopic morphology,pore size distribution,and coefficient of thermal expansion after sintering.It was known that the addition of flake talc,flake kaolin and ultrafine oxides could promote the oriented alignment of cordierite and effectively reduce the thermal expansion coefficient of the carrier,and the cordierite cellular ceramic carriers have negative thermal expansion characteristics at room temperature to 450 ℃,and the prepared carriers have a low thermal expansion coefficient of ≤0.3x10-6 ℃-1(from the room temperature to 800 ℃).It is of great significance for the production and research and development of cordierite materials with low coefficient of thermal expansion.
