Effects of Bagging and Non-bagging on Fruit Quality and Yield of'Miyazaki Short Branch'
The effects of non-bagging on fruit quality, yield and orchard production cost were studied to provide theoretical basis for orchard light and simplified cultivation. In this study, the effects of bagging and non-bagging on the appearance quality, internal quality, pesticide residue, yield and cost input of'Miyazaki Short Branch'apple were measured and analyzed. The results showed that the fruit surface smoothness index decreased by 1.63%,the fruit embroidery index increased by 6.73%,the fruit soluble solids increased by 4.22%,the hard-ness increased by 8.99%,the titratable acid increased by 29.27%,the yield increased by 9.1%,the fruit flavor was rich, there was no pesticide residue, and the orchard production cost decreased by 14 468.25 yuan/hm2.It can be seen that non-bagging cultivation can not only signifi-cantly improve the internal quality of apples, increase fruit yield, and also effectively save orchard production costs.
