Sishujiulixiang is the leaves or roots of Murraya tetramera Huang.The research revealed that volatile oil,alkaloids,coumarins and flavonoids are known as the main chemical components of sishujiulixiang with cytotoxicity,anti-inflammatory,analgesic,repellent and insecticidal biological activities.This article reviews the research on its chemical composition and biological activity through consulting do-mestic and foreign literature,with the aim of providing reference for the application and development of sishujiulixiang.
