Application of Deep Eutectic Solvents in the Extraction of Natural Products
With the increasing awareness of environmental protection,many industries have gradually shifted from using traditional organic solvents to more environmentally friendly solvents in the manufacturing process.Deep eutectic solvents have become a kind of green sol-vents with excellent properties and wide application value due to their low cost,biodegradability and easy preparation.Deep eutectic solvent is a deep eutectic mixture composed of two or more components.Due to the strong hydrogen bonding between the components,the melting point of the deep eutectic solvent is significantly reduced,which is much lower than the melting point temperature of the single component.The classification of deep eutectic solvents is reviewed and various preparation methods,unique physical and chemical properties and tox-icity of deep eutectic solvents are discussed.At the same time,studies in recent years on the extraction of natural products using deep eutectic solvents are introduced,which provides ideas and references for a comprehensive understanding of the application of deep eutectic solvents in extraction.
