Research on the Competitive Advantage of Banana Industry in Guangdong Province
The banana industry is a pillar of Guangdong's agriculture,maintaining the highest production output in the country for an extended period.Using the comprehensive advantage comparative index method for analysis,it is evident that its output efficiency and comprehensive efficiency advantage rank first nationally,while the scale advantage ranks third.Looking at the industry vertically,both the comprehensive ad-vantage and scale advantage generally exhibit an upward development trend,with the efficiency advantage showing relatively stable changes.Addressing the existing competitiveness issues in Guangdong's banana industry,recommendations include leveraging strengths,addressing weaknesses to promote environmentally friendly industry development,fostering coordination among various subsystems for industry moder-nization,establishing a high-quality Guangdong banana brand,and advancing industry informatization and digitization transformation.These strategies are proposed to serve as valuable references for the high-quality development of Guangdong's banana industry.
