Study on the Efficacy of Biologically Formulated Pesticide in Con-trolling Aiolomorphus Rhopaloides Walker
In order to find out the best and effective fungicide to prevent and cure the Aiolomorphus Rhopaloides. In this study,Beauveria bassiana,Bacillus thuringiensis and imidacloprid were mixed into different compound pesticides.Afterward, their field efficacies in Aiolom-orphus rhopaloides was compared in a Phyllostachyspubescens forest in Ruiwei Village,Huajiang Yao Ethnic Township,Xing'an County,Guilin City. The results showed that B.bassiana and B.thuringiensis(mass ratio 1∶3,concentration 3.3g/L)composed the optimal formul-ation for controlling A.rhopaloides.Eight days after the application, the pest mortality reached 99.3%.Moreover,it was also found that late April to early May are the optimal control interval for this biologically formulated pesticide. The biocontrol effect of this biologically for-mulated B.bassiana-B.thuringiensis pesticide formula on A.rhopaloides was higher than chemical control, and the pests don't develop pes-ticide resistance, hence meeting the needs of environmentally-friendly bamboo shoot production. All in all, don't the proposed biologically formulated pesticide in this study is an environmentally-friendly and efficacious green pesticide.
