Detection and Ingestion Risk Assessment of Pesticide Residues in Sea Buckthorn
The pesticide residues in Sea buckthorn fruit, whole fruit and pulp were determined by high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry and gas chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. From October 2022 to October 2023,50 batches of sea buck-thorn fruit samples were collected from 6 regions of Hebei,Inner Mongolia,Shanxi,Gansu,Shaanxi and Qinghai to compare the distribution of pesticide residues in sea buckthorn fruits from different producing areas. The target risk coefficient(THQ)was used to evaluate the in-gestion risk of single pesticide residues, and the hazard index(HI)was used to evaluate the combined exposure risk of multiple pesticide re-sidues.The results showed that a total of 34 pesticide residues were detected in 50 batches of Sea buckthorn fruit samples, including 24 in-secticides,9 fungicides and 1 acaricide.A total of 34 pesticide residues were detected in Sea buckthorn fruit peel, whole fruit and pulp,re-spectively,30,49 and 21 pesticides, accounting for 60.00%,98.00%and 42.00%,respectively.The THQ values of single pesticide residues were all<1,and the combined HI value of multiple pesticide residues was 0.866 7,indicating that the ingestion risk of Sea buckthorn fruit was small, and the combined exposure risk of multiple pesticide residues was low,and generally would not cause unacceptable risks to hu-man health.
