Research on Chemical Composition,Pharmacological Effect,Clinical Ap-plication and Predictive Analysis of Quality Markers of the Classic For-mula Huanglian Ointment
Huanglian ointment is a classic formula for clearing heat and removing toxins,activating blood circulation and reducing swelling,and is now mostly used in the treatment of dermatological and anorectal diseases in modern clinics,with anti-inflammatory,anti-bacterial,anti-oxidant and wound-repairing effects.In this study,we reviewed the research progress on the chemical composition,pharmacological effect and clinical application of Huanglian ointment,and predicted and analysed the quality marker of Huanglian ointment based on the"five principles"of the quality marker(Q-Marker)of traditional Chinese medicine.The results showed that berberine,epiberberine,coptisine,palmatine,jatrorrhizine,phellodendrine,curcumin,turmerone,ferulic acid,ligustilide,and senkyunolide I,ligustilide,catalpol,rhmannioside D,acteosidecan be used as the Q-markers of the flavanine paste,and these Q-marker components can be selected as the indexes,with a view to providing references to the quality control of the flavanine paste-related formulations as well as to the subsequent researches.
