Study on the Application of Structural Optimization in the Design of Sealing Plates for Rail Vehicles
Based on the study of the Opistruct platform in the software HyperWorks,the topological optimization and dimensional optimization methods are introduced into the structural design in the early stage,combined with the data of aerodynamic load during the operation of vehicles,to propose an optimization program for the sealing plates for a certain model of rail vehicle so as to increase the service life of the sealing plates.The optimization result shows that in the premise of not increasing the total mass of the sealing plates for this model of rail vehicle,the rigidity and the inherent frequency of the sealing plates have been greatly increased,thus effectively avoiding the frequency range of aerodynamic load and providing a complete design thought for the structural design of train products.
