Study on the Carbody Heat Transfer Coefficient K Value for Operation of High-speed Train
The carbody heat transfer coefficient K value is an important index of the thermal performance of rail vehicles and an important influencing parameter of energy consumption of the air conditioning system of high-speed train. This article mainly studies the carbody heat transfer coefficient K value of high-speed train by means of numerical calculation.By calculating the K value of the static carbody of intermediate cars of a high-speed train and the K value in running conditions, the article analyzes the change rule of K value of intermediate cars of a high-speed train at different running speeds. The calculation result shows the following:the higher the running speed of the train is,the larger the K value is,but its increase amplitude is smaller and smaller. In addition, the article analyzes the impact of the change of K value on the energy consumption of the air conditioning system of the whole train:comparing the high-speed train running at 380 km/h and the same train in static status,it turns out that the increase of energy consumption of the air conditioning system of the whole train caused by the increase of K value is not important. When designing a high-speed train, the attention shall be paid more to the air tightness of carbody during high-speed operation of the train than to the K value.Although the increase of energy consumption of the air conditioning system of the whole train caused by the increase of K value is not important, the quantity of heat transferred into the train through the carbody is still large,so the K value of high-speed train shall be controlled within a reasonable range.
