Study on the Fault Diagnosis Method for Rotating Parts of the Bogie of Railway Freight Car
The monitoring of bearing and wheel faults of railway freight cars with vibration signals is easy to be affected by wheel-rail contact vibrations and environmental noises. The fault feature signals are submerged by external interfering noises and consequently difficult to extract, and frequent speed changes of freight cars disturb the frequency of vibration signals. To solve the above-mentioned problem, this article proposes a bearing fault diagnosis method based on the adaptive filtering demodulation technology under signal stabilization conditions which can realize the accuracy identification of bearing faults under speed changes of train and random impact interferences. The result of the track test of the K6 bogie in a real freight car shows that the method proposed in this article can accurately and effectively diagnose the faults of bearing peeling and tread scoring, providing a technical basis for subsequent fault diagnosis and monitoring of railway freight cars.
