Study and Application of the Unitary Inverter Air Conditioner for Railway Passenger Cars
The air conditioning set is an important equipment for improving the comfort of the train by adjusting the temperature in the passenger compartments and is one of the main energy-consuming components of the train.At present,the air conditioning sets of rail vehicles are mainly divided into two types:the fixed-frequency air conditioner and the inverter air conditioner.The fixed-frequency air conditioner can adjust the temperature in the passenger compartments by starting or stopping the compressor running at a fixed rotating speed to change the cooling capacity output according to the demand for thermal load in the passenger compartments;while the inverter air conditioner can adjust the temperature in the passenger compartments by controlling the rotating speed of the compressor with the frequency converter to provide a linear and variable cooling capacity output according to the demand for thermal load in the passenger compartments.This article analyzes the current application status of the air conditioners for railway passenger cars running at ordinary speed of types 25 G and 25 T,introduces in detail the technical solution for transforming the fixed-frequency air conditioner into the inverter air conditioner in the railway passenger cars running at ordinary speed and its verification situation.It turns out that the technology of inverter air conditioner has improved the comfort of these railway passenger cars running at ordinary speed and saved the energy and has clear advantages,so it's recommended to generalize this technology.
