With the popularization of type 120 air brake control valve("120 valve"for short)and the promotion and application of the new type of 120 valve,120 valves have occupied a very important proportion on the brake market of railway freight cars in China and the reliable operating performance of 120 valve is an important guarantee for the safe transportation of the train.This article analyzes the abnormal failure of the semi-automatic release valve of 120 valve and its causes and proposes corresponding troubleshooting measures and suggestions.
