Development and Application of a New Type of Bogie Rubber Pad
Rubber pads are widely used in primary and secondary suspension systems of locomotive &rolling stock,and their functions are insulation,vibration damping,and adjustment of the combined stiffness of the system,which can effectively improve the dynamic performance of locomotive & rolling stock.From the perspective of the influence of rubber pads on the combined stiffness of primary suspension system,the article firstly establishes a primary suspension system simulation model using Abaqus software,and analyzes the influence of different structures of rubber pads on the combined stiffness of the system,rubber pad stress and strain;secondly,it simulates the actual use of rubber pads,and builds a primary suspension system stiffness test bench,and conducts tests on the vertical stiffness of primary suspension systems equipped with different rubber pads,and compares and analyzes the results with the calculation results.Combined with the simulation calculation and test verification results,the rubber pad with the optimal solution for adjusting the combined stiffness of the system was finally selected for product development.The rubber pad successfully passed the fatigue test and was installed in an export EMU with good effect and stable performance,which provides a reference basis for the development of rubber pad.
