Functional Integrity Analysis of Braking System for Low-floor Modern Trams
Low-floor modern trams are increasingly used in urban rail transit systems as an environmentally friendly, comfortable and convenient mode of transportation.Low-floor modern trams may operate in commercial districts,non-independent road right, and their operating intervals cross with pedestrians and vehicles, and it is prioritized to stop the vehicle when an emergency occurs to avoid pedestrians from being hurt. The braking system,as an important part of ensuring vehicle safety, its functional settings and its integrity are important indicators to be evaluated as vehicle index. There is no systematic standard for the design of the functional integrity of the braking system of low-floor modern trams,so it is urgent to explore the definition of braking system function and its integrity.
