Rescue Tire Design and Temperature Field Analysis of Maglev Train
The article describes a rescue tire designed for emergency situations according to the interface requirements of maglev trains.Firstly, static load and steady rolling analyses were carried out. After extracting the stress field and strain field data of the tire's rubber material,a program was written to calculate the heat generation rate;then the heat generation rate was imported and given to each unit by writing a subroutine to set the thermal boundary conditions, and the temperature field of the tire was obtained by heat conduction calculation. The maximum temperature of the tire is 93.77℃,which occurs in the shoulder area, when the tire is filled with a pressure of 2.3 MPa,loaded with 1.0 t,and driven at 70 km/h at an ambient temperature of 25℃.By calculating the temperature field of the tire at different speeds,it is found that the maximum temperature of the tire increases approximately linearly with the driving speed.
