The depressed center flat car for rescue in railway tunnels is a special equipment developed for implementing the overall rescue of derailed coal hopper cars of series C70,model C80 and model C64 in double-track tunnels.This article states its main characteristics,main performance parameters and dimensions,main structure,etc.,expounds the static and dynamic calculations of the depressed center flat car for rescue as well as various type tests after completion of the car,and introduces the brief rescue operation steps and the duration of normal operation of the car.
