Study of Key Technologies and Development of Equipment for Railway Transportation of Long and Large Steel Plates
This article introduces the background of Chinese steel transportation and the current situation of steel plate transportation,enumerates the problems existing in current railway transportation of long and large steel plates and indicates the necessity to develop the railway wagon for long and large steel plates.It establishes the design principle of the wagon for long and large steel plates and,on this basis,describes the study on the railway wagon for long and large steel plates.Combining the earlier investigation work and the existing experience in railway wagon R&D,it determines the structure and the configuration of the railway wagon for long and large steel plates as well as the basic parameters of the wagon;the simulation calculation of the static strength of carbody and the static strength test verify that the steel structure of carbody meets the design requirement.It enumerates several key technologies in railway wagon for long and large steel plates which can improve the economic performance of the transportation of steel plates according to the principle of easy operation and achieve broad prospect and remarkable economic benefit on the transportation market.
