Failure Analysis of KZW Series Dust Protectors for Sensor Valves and Optimization of Process Control Measures
The article introduces the faults such as displacement, blockage and missing of the KZW series dust protectors for sensor valves of railway wagons in operation and analyzes the causes and hazards of the faults from the two aspects of product structure and working principle. It turns out from the analysis by fault simulation test,pull-out force test, vibration test and cyclic air charging and discharging test that the reliability of connection between the dust protector and the sensor valve is affected by the factors such as fit interference, vibration and piston movement.Accordingly,it gives the suggestions of optimizing the anti-drop process control measures and the structure of the dust protector. The operation test result shows that it's possible to effectively prevent the dust protector from deviating from its mounting position by controlling the range of its pull-out force and its key mounting dimensions.
