Analysis of Repair Class of Pneumatic Control System for Automatic Coupler of a Model of Multiple Unit Based on RCM
As an important part of vehicle,coupler is significant for ensuring the safe operation of vehicle.To guarantee the performance of coupler,it's necessary to perform the maintenance according to the repair class.The conventional coupler maintenance mode consists on combining the planned repair and the fault repair,with the shortages of high cost and low efficiency and the possible problems such as excessive repair or insufficient repair.The article is based on the RCM(Reliability-Centered Maintenance)theory,takes into account the actual operational fault information and the FMECA,analyzes the function,the mode of fault and the impact of fault of the pneumatic control system for automatic coupler of a model of multiple unit,identifies the type of fault and combines with the vehicle risk evaluation matrix to determine the reliability limit of relevant parts.Meanwhile,it classifies the operational fault data,selects the fault data of 4 key parts of the pneumatic control system,adopts the Weibull distribution function to build the reliability model and calculates the reliability life of the parts according to the reliability limit.Based on the calculation result,it further analyzes the matching of the reliability life of the parts of the pneumatic control system with the requirements of the existing repair class and,combining with the demand for optimization of repair class and repair system of the multiple unit,gives rationalization suggestions.
