Adaptability Research to Shorter Station Site Length of the CTCS-2+ATO System
Research purposes:As for the railway project with underground sections,because of the earth excavation,it is required that the length of station site is as short as possible in order to save the investment.Because of the setting position of the safety protection distance,installing position of the on-board equipment,adaptability to the higher speed,the station site length requirement of the existing CTCS-2+ATO system is larger than that of the CBTC system.The disadvantage is shown while using in suburban railway.It is needed to analyze the CTCS-2+ATO system adaptability to the shorter station site length,put forward the suitable method and improve its competitiveness.Research conclusions:(1)Adding safety line to the siding track,based on unlocking the overlap section in time using standstill message and adding overlap section message to the balise telegram in order to draw back the MA in time,setting the safety protection and additional distance inside the signal,using the section of safety line or throat section to short the length thesiding track;(2)Reasonable restricting the installing position of on-board balise antenna,calculating the distance between the balise and the signal and the distance between the balises in the balise group according to the speed of the suburban railway while ensuring the reliable telegram interpreting,and then defining the shortest length requirement of the balise installing in the siding track;(3)No-coding to the turn-back route through turnout branch,the length of the track circuit meeting the requirement of the track occupancy check only in order to shorten the length of the turn-back line switch section;(4)The research findings can be widely used in the suburban railway.
