Analysis of Support Box Girder During Large Tonnage Box Girder Transport on Girders in Curve Segment
Reseach purposes:The large tonnage prestressed concrete box girders(50 m/1 650 t)have been used in Section S1 of Ningbo Phase I of Hangzhou-Ningbo expressway.The box girders are transported on two box girders using YL1800 girder carrier.In order to study the mechanical performance of the support box girders when the large tonnage box girder is transported in the small radius curve segment(R=1 800 m),and verify the feasibility of the girder transportation scheme,the support box girders is in-situ tested and analyzed.Research conclusions:(1)During the large tonnage box girder transported on the box girders,the top plate and bottom plate of the mid-span sections of the support box girders are pressed in longitudinal,and the top plate is pressed in transversal.The stress of the support box girders meets the requirements of the specifications.(2)With the increase of the eccentric load distance of the girder carrier,the stress and mid-span deflection of the support box girders gradually increase.The eccentric load of the girder carrier towards to the lower side has a greater impact on the stress and mid-span deflection of the support box girders.It is recommended that the eccentric load of the girder carrier towards to the both sides should not exceed 1 000 mm.(3)The research results can provide reference on the construction of the large tonnage box girders transport on the girders.
