Design of Ballastless Track Turnout with 60 kg/m Rail No.12 Movable Point Crossing in Suburban Railway
Research purposes:Suburban railways play an important role in supporting and driving the development of urban and regional. Many cities have built or are building suburban railways.Turnout is the weakness of track line and the key factor that affects the train passes through safely and smoothly. In order to ensure suburban railways keep high-speed operation and reduce daily maintenance, suburban railways are mainly based on ballastless track, but there are few ballastless track turnouts,it is necessary to design ballastless track turnout with 60 kg/m rail No.12 movable point crossing in main line.Research conclusions:(1)The smoothness of lateral passage of trains is improved by using the type of compound curve line alignment in diverging line.(2)The service life of the curve switch rail has been extended by optimizing the tip structure.(3)Noise disturbance between wheels and rails has been solved by using the movable point crossing.(4)The switch rail and point rail are free from jumping when the train passes the turnout at high speed by setting up the anti-jump mechanisms.(5)The realization of the continuously welded railway in the turnout area is guaranteed, based on the research on the force transmission mechanisms at the end of switch rail and crossing.(6)The clamping stability of the rail is enhanced by optimizing the structure of slide plate and checkrail plate.(7)EPDM rubber fastener system is developed to meet the low stiffness requirement of ballastless track bed.(8)The research results can be used as a reference for railway research institutions and turnout manufacturers in the design and research of suburban railway turnouts.
