Research on the Transportation Organization Model for the Opening of Freight Transport on the Lianyungang-Yancheng Railway
Lianyungang-Yancheng Railway,the major part of the coastal passage,is a 200 km/h mixed passenger and freight express railway.However,due to the operation management requirements and the freight development opportunities along the railway,the freight function has not been enabled.Affected by railway diversion in the railway network and slow passenger train speed,there are a humble number of passenger trains,with a line capacity utilization rate of only about 17%in some sections,which fails to fully reflect the driving role of railway in regional economic and social development,and especially limits the development of ports along the railway lines.According to the current national policy requirements for railway quality and efficiency improvement,this paper,in combination with the technical conditions and demands of passengers and freight,summed up the experience of similar railway and analyzed the problems and solutions of mixed 200 km/h passenger and freight express railway.Finally,it put forwards a recommended freight organization model for Lianyungang-Yancheng Railway,with a view to railway quality and efficiency improvement and the coordinated development of regional economy promotion.
