Train Tail Utilization Efficiency Improvement in Station and Locomotive Integration Mode of Railway Freight Stations
At present,in the increasingly competitive transportation market, railway freight transport is facing a severe loss of supply of goods. In recent years, with the reform of public transit railway and the transition of railway freight to modern logistics,a series of reform measures were made in railway freight stations. For example, station and locomotive integration was implemented by means of station-based dispatchers in the locomotive depot, the exchange of locomotive depot managers to station positions, and the transfer of shunting drivers to station management. This greatly facilitated the coordination between stations and locomotives, increased coordination precision, improved locomotive attendance efficiency, and shortened locomotive auxiliary time. For another example,by setting up train-tail operation points in the depot, carrying train-tail single locomotive directly in the depot and sending them to intermediate stations in the periphery, not only can the marshalling stations start the train in one minute, improving departure efficiency, but they also can solve the departure problem for train tail demand stations.Implementation of these reform programs greatly increased train tail operation efficiency, increased train tail deployment accuracy, compressed freight schedule and intermediate time, and increased the number of vehicles handled by marshalling stations. Finally, they improved the railway freight transport business income and made a greater contribution to local economic and social development.
