Strategy for Smooth Transportation of Ningxi Line Hub Nodes Nanyangxi Station and Xinyangbei Station
The Ningxi Line is a national first-class mixed-traffic railway connecting Nanjing City in Jiangsu Province and Xi'an City in Shaanxi Province.It runs from Yongning Town Station in Nanjing City in the east to Xinfeng Town Station in Xi'an City in the west.The Ningxi Line is an important east-west channel for the transportation of Shaanxi coal.It crosses several north-south main lines and connects the Haoji Line,the Jiaoliu Line,the Jingguang Line,the Jingjiu Line,the Fuliu Line,the Huainan Line,and the Jinghu Line successively from east to west.By deeply understanding the overall transportation situation of the Ningxi Line,this paper identified two key nodes affecting its smooth operation:Nanyangxi Station and Xinyangbei Station.Through an analysis of the production and operation of the two stations,as well as the train delivery at Xixia,Shangnan,and Xiaolinkou,this paper proposed solutions from several aspects to address existing problems such as locomotive usage,train formation,traffic flow diversion,balanced transportation of traffic flow,enhancement of the technical inspection work capacity of trains in stations,unified train wind pressure,and station equipment capacity expansion and transformation.Against the backdrop of sustained freight increment,the goal is to promote the eastward transportation of Shaanxi coal and the outbound transportation of Xinjiang coal,enhance the overall capacity utilization rate of the Ningxi Line,and play a greater role in increasing the transportation volume of the Haoji Line and even the entire railway system.
