Dwell Time Compression Strategy for Railway Freight Vehicles at Terminal Stations Based on Importance Assessment
The dwell time of railway freight vehicles at the terminal station reflects not only the efficiency of vehicle utilization but also the overall operational efficiency of loading,unloading,and scheduling within the station by binding with goods.Therefore,it is necessary to compress the dwell time of railway freight vehicles at terminal stations in a reasonable way,thereby deepening the understanding of station operation efficiency and improving station operation efficiency.Existing compression strategies often rely on methods like optimizing organizational structure and increasing production assessment,which lack operability and pertinence.On the basis of analyzing the composition and influencing factors of dwell time of railway freight vehicles at terminal stations,this paper summarized the main dwell time compression methods for railway freight vehicles at terminal stations and then demonstrated the necessity of introducing an importance assessment of dwell time compression strategy for railway freight vehicles at terminal stations.On this basis,a method for evaluating the importance of factors affecting the dwell time of railway freight vehicles at terminal stations was studied,including the assessment of correlation coefficients and the assessment of mean decrease accuracy,so as to obtain an importance assessment vector.Then,the importance assessment vector for the dwell time of railway freight vehicles at terminal stations was calculated by using example station data.Finally,based on the importance assessment vector,a dwell time compression strategy for railway freight vehicles at terminal stations was proposed,further verifying the effectiveness of optimizing the dwell time compression strategy for railway freight vehicles at terminal stations through importance assessment.This provided a feasible method for improving station operation efficiency and optimizing logistics service capabilities.
