Discussion on Transformation and Upgrading of Railway Freight Transport to Modern Logistics
In order to accelerate the construction of a modern logistics system,this paper investigated the situation faced by the development of modern logistics in railways,analyzed the development opportunities and challenges,and highlighted the importance of developing modern logistics in railways.The measures and achievements of developing modern logistics in railways include deepening the reform of the railway freight organization system,establishing a management system and operation mechanism compatible with the development of modern logistics,comprehensively providing whole-process logistics services,promoting the development of road-to-rail transport and multimodal transport,and advancing the market-oriented reform of railway freight prices.In addition,they also encompass accelerating the construction of a railway freight price system that combines government guidance prices and market regulation prices,speeding up the transformation and upgrading of freight stations and dedicated lines,comprehensively supporting the improvement and upgrading of logistics services,promoting the digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading of railway logistics,and providing strong information support for the development of multimodal transport.These measures provide decision-making references for the transformation and upgrading of railway freight transport to modern logistics.
