Study on the Filling Technology and Experiments of Railway Platform in Frozen Area Considering Geomembrane Laying
The purpose of this paper is to solve the frost-heave problem of Chumaer River railway platform in the seasonal frozen area of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau by numerical simulation test.First of all, collect the climate, soil and other data of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau seasonal frozen area.Subsequently, different temperatures and soil conditions were set to simulate the possible frost-heave of the railway platform. It was found that the main cause of the frost-heave of the platform was the freezing of water in the soil caused by low temperature and the convergence of water to the freezing front under the action of negative temperature gradient. This study proposes a method of laying geomembrane on the freezing front to form a waterproof barrier fault to reduce the adverse effects of frost heave on the railway platform.Based on the simulation results,it is found that the layout of the geomembrane ensures that the moisture content of the filler in the frozen depth of the platform is in a stable state, blocking the continuous migration of unfrozen water into the platform filler and exacerbating the frost heave disease of the platform. In this study, the frost heave problem of railway platform in seasonal frozen area of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is systematically solved by numerical simulation test, which provides an important reference for the design, construction and operation of railway engineering.
