An Overview of Evaluation Methods and Indicators for Passenger Train Comfort
Comfort is a pivotal factor in the design and operation of passenger trains,profoundly influencing travel experience.The prevailing indicator of evaluating the comfort of passenger trains in China currently is the vibration comfort,which cannot address the evolving demands of contemporary rail transit.This study,focusing on the practical engineering significance of passenger train comfort,conducts a comprehensive analysis of existing comfort evaluation methods,including vibration comfort,thermal comfort,acoustic comfort,pressure comfort,and an integrated approach to assess comfort.Based on the findings,the study offers recommendations for future researches in evaluating the comfort of China's railway passenger trains.
