Traffic Organization Research of Metropolitan Rapid Rail Transit System for Egypt 10th of Ramadan Railway Project
With the development of social economy and new urbanization in China,Metropolitan Rapid Rail Transit System are showing a trend of vigorous development.The 10th of Ramadan Railway Project in Egypt is the first Metropolitan Rapid Railway successfully implemented by Chinese company as the strategy of"go global".There are certain difficulties in promoting the key technologies and methods of traffic organization that match the project's functional requirements and technical characteristics overseas.This paper briefly describes the development history and current situation of Egyptian rail transit,analyzes the main characteristics of the project,expounds the rolling stock selection,the maximum running speed and determination of train crowding levels;It also analyzes the proposal of auxiliary line,clarifies the reason for not applying a mixed operation mode with express and slow trains,and it quoted the proposal of train organization after multiple times of phases extension.
