To enhance the synergic benefits of the engineering construction standards for suburban railway,standardize engineering construction practice,and to promote the"four-network integration"of rail transit,the suburban railway engineering construction standard system has been established.Firstly,the railway engineering construction standard system and the standard system for urban rail transit are comprehensively reviewed to define guideline for the development standard system and the system components and to expose the inadequacies.Secondly,the applicability of the corresponding standards are evaluated in 7 categories including the general standards,survey,design,construction,acceptance,testing,cost estimating standards to shed light on their optimization.Thirdly,the objectives and principles of the standard system development for urban(suburban)railway engineering construction are determined and the overall development philosophy is defined.Finally,a framework diagram and a list of standards is presented to provide guidance on the standard development and revision.
