There are great differences in the performance indexes of air springs by using the test methods of ClassⅠ,ClassⅡand ClassⅢprescribed in TB/T 2841-2019 Air spring for railway vehicles.In order to facilitate the uni-fication of railway vehicle air spring test methods,the differences of two kinds of test methods for air spring were ana-lyzed,eight kinds of air springs of main EMU were selected and tested according to two kinds of test methods.The test results show that the test conditions of Class I and ClassⅡair spring test methods are closer to the actual use condi-tions of air spring,it is more reasonable than classⅢair spring test method.Through statistical analysis,the proposed conversion factors for vertical static stiffness,vertical dynamic stiffness,horizontal static stiffness and horizontal dy-namic stiffness of air springs between two kinds of test mothods for EMUs are obtained.
