During the testing process of the products such as responders,balise transmission module and antenna units in the balise transmission system of chinese train control system(CTCS),manual alignment of the electrical center is required,which results in large errors,low efficiency and long time consumption.The paper proposes the re-quirements for an adaptive positioning device for testing the balise transmission system,designs an adaptive position-ing device,configures and selects hardware,develops application software for the adaptive positioning device,devel-ops an adaptive positioning device for testing the balise transmission system,and applies the device for positioning.The application shows that using an adaptive positioning device can effectively improve alignment accuracy,shorten alignment time,improve the testing efficiency of the balise transmission system product,and reduce the workload of testing personnel.
