Railway technical management regulations(Part for high-speed railway)and Railway technical manage-ment regulations(Part for conventional-speed railway)(hereinafter referred to Technical Regulations)are the basic regulations of national railway technical management.This paper reviews the evolution history of the voltage specifica-tion of traction power supply system and analyzes the motivation of the evolution of the voltage specification of traction power supply system in Technical Regulations,and points out that there is obvious convergence between the voltage specification of traction power supply system and voltage specification in the national standard,and the main influenc-ing factor of the change is the development of the electric power industry and electric locomotive.Based on analyzing the minor differences between the voltage specification of traction power supply system in Technical Regulations and voltage specification in the national standard,between the part for conventional speed railway and the part for high speed railway the disadvantages of their mismatch in Technical Regulations,some suggestions for improving the volt-age specification of traction power supply system in Technical Regulations are put forward.
