On the basis of introducing the metrology performance of the clearance treadle for rolling stock for the stan-dard gauge railway,the paper analyzes the main metrology performance requirements of the clearance treadle from the aspects of line requirements for the spection section,inspection range,lateral dimensions and vertical dimensions.The paper elaborates on the traceability method of the of quantity value of the clearance treadle,and proposes precau-tions in the traceability work of quantity value,in order to further understand the essence and requirements of the traceability of quantity value of the clearance treadle.
