Improvement of Determination of Total Phosphorus in Water by Ammonium Molybdate Spectrophotometry
The digestion process in the determination of total phosphorus in wastewater by ammonium molybdate spectrophotometer was optimized to improve the detection efficiency.DRB200 digesters and supporting tubes instead of ammonium spectrophotometer digesters(medical hand-held steam sterilizers or general pressure cookers)were used, the optimal digestion condition was 150℃ for 20 min to digest the water sample, and the accuracy and precision of the method were tested and calculated, and the feasibility of the improved method was obtained. The results showed that the correlation coefficient of the standard series was 0.9998 in the concentration range of 0~1.2 μg/mL;the recovery rate is 93.3%~107.0%;GSB07-3169-2014,batch number 2039119 water quality total phosphorus standard reference sample was detected, and the measured value was within the standard range.Ammonium molybdate spectrophotometric method for the determination of total phosphorus in industrial wastewater with DRB200 digestion instrument for sample digestion, has the characteristics of simple operation, short time consumption, high safety and so on,can effectively improve the experimental efficiency.
