Study on the Relationship between Sleep Quality,Anxiety and Depression of Passenger Transport Personnel in a Railway Unit
Paying attention to the mental health issues of railway passenger service personnel and grasping the correlation between anxiety,depression symptoms,and sleep quality has positive significance for improving their quality of life and work efficiency.Taking 731 passenger attendants from a railway unit as the research object,the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale(GAD-7),Patient Health Questionnaire(PHQ-9),and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)were used for evaluation.The results showed that 9.27%of the passenger attendants had anxiety symptoms,18.83%had depression symptoms,and 7.92%had both anxiety and depression symptoms.The total PSQI scores of the anxiety and depression groups were significantly higher than the normal group,and the total scores of GAD-7 and PHQ-9 were positively correlated with the total PSQI score and its components.The study revealed a significant correlation between anxiety,depression symptoms,and sleep quality among passenger attendants,emphasizing the importance of paying attention to their mental health for improving sleep quality.
