Investigation and Analysis of On-the-job Hypertensive Patients in Key Railway System
Understanding the lifestyle, awareness of hypertension, and medication adherence among hypertensive patients in different railway system units serves as a foundation for health management and interventions.A total of 5 023 hypertensive patients from the rail vehicle system, the railway track division, the passenger transport system, and the station system of a railway bureau group were selected as research subjects and surveyed using questionnaires to comprehend their lifestyles and self-management levels. The results revealed statistically significant variations in smoking, drinking, exercise, sleep patterns, and dietary habits among the four units of hypertensive patients(P<0.05).Among all hypertensive patients surveyed,26.44%lacked knowledge about hypertension-related information;25.94%were unaware of their hypertension grade;52.06%did not adhere to medication regimens;while 18.12%discontinued medication after achieving controlled blood pressure levels.Additionally,23.89%of patients typically neglected blood pressure measurements.According to the investigation of the lack of self-health management of workers with hypertension, this paper puts forward some suggestions, such as strengthening health education, improving unhealthy lifestyle and taking medicine according to doctor's advice,so as to further improve the health level of workers.
