Application of Employee Assistance Program(EAP)in Railway First Line Stations and Sections
A survey was conducted on 170 employees in a certain railway maintenance division using the comprehensive psychological assessment scale for railway employees(psychological health assessment and social health assessment subscales).Develop a targeted psychological assistance plan based on the results of the first questionnaire,intervene through mental health lectures,individual psychological counseling,and organizational recommendations,and conduct a second questionnaire survey 6 months later.The results showed that the psychological and social health scores of the employees in the second questionnaire were improved compared to the first questionnaire,and the difference was statistically significant.The introduction of EAP in railway enterprises can effectively alleviate the occupational stress of employees and improve their overall health status score.Furthermore,suggestions were put forward in areas such as leadership organization,professional team building,and promotion and application.
